The Certificate in Sustainability & Environmental Management empowers Aggies who care about animals, ecosystems, and responsible food systems. Whether you see your future in veterinary medicine, livestock production, wildlife conservation, or animal‑focused research, this program shows you how sustainable practices and science‑based stewardship can protect both the planet and the species we rely on.
Animal‑Centered Sustainability – Dive into low‑impact livestock systems, circular nutrient flows, humane housing, wildlife–livestock interface management, and climate‑smart grazing.
Career‑Ready Skill Set – Translate principles of life‑cycle assessment, environmental policy, and regenerative agriculture into real‑world decisions on farms, ranches, zoos, and laboratories.
Aggie Expertise – Learn from faculty in Animal Science, AgriLife Research, and the Office of Sustainability, and collaborate with the Rosenthal Meat Science & Technology Center and the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.
